Lead Designer:
Raedwood seeks a talented, creative & forward-thinking individual who is skilled in interior design with a specific focus on kitchen design. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated and developed aesthetic sharing our love for elegant & refined modern interiors. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers and project teams to provide full-service kitchen and interior design for residential builds as well as curating new product offerings, materials, details, accessories, colors and finishes. Lead Designer will also work directly with executive management to assist with the design and build process of our soon-to-be built design showroom and the development of a new interior design division of the business. Experience & Skill Qualifications:
· kitchen design including an in-depth knowledge of spatial concepts & solutions, material composition & interfaces and technical requirements (min 1-2 yrs)
· flexible combination of kitchen design, interior design, fashion, architecture, art, graphic design, construction or craft (education and/or work experience) (min 5 yrs combined)
· general computer skills (word, excel, bluebeam, etc)
· production of professional mood boards, schedules, specifications and design drawings (min 1-2 yrs)
· hand and digital drafting, sketching and painting (autocad, sketchup, chief architect, adobe suite, etc) (min 1-2 yrs digital drafting)
· basic math and advanced English language skills
· acute business sense and entrepreneurial spirit
Compensation & Benefits:
· Starting base salary $60-70k DOE
